La Sirena is the first installment of a series about the cuentos of Soledad, a latina amateur writer and sometime exotic dancer who lives along the US/Mexico border. The series focuses on trauma and healing in the wake of sexual assault and abuse. The fabric of these stories are interwoven within lush the environment of latinx border culture, in the shadow of the 45th presidential administration.
Friends In High Places
Friends In High Places is a stoner comedy series about rape culture. This comedic series follows the marijuana infused shenanigans of Ariel and Chole, as they single handedly take on the patriarchy. Its a battle of where the audience is left asking, why are these girls failing? Is it pot or the patriarchy?
Friends In High Places is currently in production and we will begin submitting this pilot to festivals in late summer of 2019.
